Celebrating the Jewels of Italy Sparkling Kick-Off Party at Tenenbaum Jewelers

Sip and Celebrate! The Countdown to Celebrating the Jewels of Italy Fashion Show & Luncheon Begins Now!

The Italian Cultural & Community Center (ICCC) toasted to their third annual fashion show and luncheon, “Celebrating the Jewels of Italy,” at Tenenbaum Jewelers with ICCC members and friends on August 18. The luncheon is set to take place at the River Oaks Country Club on September 14, 2022, with Rose “Rosie” Carrabba as the guest of honor.

Guests mingled throughout the main floor of Tenenbaum Jewelers, and they enjoyed Italian delights donated by generous sponsors: charcuterie platters by Citterio USA, Italian specialties by Matilde Vicenzi, chocolate samples from Baratti & Milano, and flat and sparkling water from legendary Acqua Panna USA and San Pellegrino USA. Along with water imported form Italy, attendees sipped on prosecco and wines generously provided by Casteggio Italian Wines by Gruppo Butera.

Event chairs Sandra Porter and Gina Gusemano Leck joined ICCC Executive Director Erika Myers to discuss the purpose of the fashion show and luncheon and how guests can support the cause. They also spoke about the six amazing raffle items ranging from a Houston experience package, valued at $4,057, which includes a two-night stay at Four Seasons Houston and a $500 gift certificate from Amalfi Ristorante, to a lovely painting, valued at $1,150, by Daniela Pasqualini. The highlighted raffle item of the night were the three dazzling pieces from Tenenbaum Jewelers. The winner of this item could choose one of the three options to take home.

Funds raised from the fashion show and luncheon will go towards the ICCC scholarship program for students currently enrolled at a college or university in the greater Houston area and are participating in a study abroad program in Italy.
