I would like to take the time to thank the ICCC for the great work that they do for their members and students. I have been taking classes (both group and private lessons) for about a year and a half and my Italian language skills have improved tremendously. I would like to thank Giulia Iasoni in particular; as you know Giulia is our coordinator and teacher extraordinaire. She is very patient and utilizes innovative, and more importantly, fun methods that make learning the language dynamic and never boring. It is not just about the language per se but also a great dose of Italian culture, taught by a native speaker. She always keeps things fresh and is willing to adapt to the student’s interests. I highly recommend taking private lessons with her. Also, she does a superb job in evaluating and placing students in an appropriate course level which is a very dynamic and evolving process as some students may progress faster than others. I would also like to thank my current teacher, Alia, who is also motto brava, simpatica e paziente. She has been doing an amazing job with online sessions and was able to move us seamlessly into the virtual classroom. I am also impressed by how the ICCC was able to rise to the occasion and promptly switch to online classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While it is nice to go to school physically, the online classes are as effective and honestly, very convenient. Insomma, I highly recommend the ICCC to those hoping to learn this beautiful language and at the same time enjoy a good dose of culture and history of the bel paese. Keep up the excellent job!

Customized Material in Advance and is Very Attentive
I have been taking online private lessons for a month, with a positive experience. I have learned a lot thus far and already feel the progress. The classes are organized and complete. The teacher sends the customized material in advance and is very attentive. The school coordinator is easy to reach and happy to provide advice. Both the teacher and the coordinator are a pleasure to interact with and are readily available.

The Teachers are Very Dedicated to Teaching!
I am studying Italian at the ICCC since last August. When this Pandemic started I didn’t want to stop studying because the classes are so interesting and fun. Luckily, the ICCC began classes online. It is an excellent option in this situation or for any person willing to learn a language and does not have enough time. If someone is looking for a place to learn the language or needs to be at a B1 level to ask for the Italian citizenship, without a doubt the ICCC is the place. The teachers are very dedicated to teaching. I had Alessandra and she was amazing. Nowadays, Giulia is my teacher and she is also great! I deeply recommend the ICCC for Italian classes.

Sometimes we Even Have Zoom Aperitivo Together as a Class
During this period of social distancing, the ICCC has adapted to the situation extremely well. They have migrated to online classes through Zoom. The classes through Zoom are turning out to be very interesting and helping us learn Italian differently. It’s also been a great way to stay connected to the city as well as help our local businesses! We are so lucky to have an association like the ICCC in Houston. I would highly recommend taking online Italian lessons with the ICCC! Sometimes we even have Zoom aperitivo together as a class. Thank you ICCC for all you do!
