This is an intensive beginner-level course that meets once a week for one hour. No previous knowledge of Italian required.

Why study Italian at the ICCC.
The Italian Language School at the ICCC is a professional institution that teaches and promotes the Italian language and culture. Italian language classes are held year-round for adults and children and range from beginner to advanced level. All our teachers are native Italians and highly qualified. Their loyalty to the school and our programs is rewarded so as to guarantee a quality standard and promote a common goal of continuous improvement. The Italian Language School is the only Institution in town recognized by the Italian government. We follow the European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for teaching Italian: each course develops skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Our classes are organized into levels ranging from complete beginner (level A) to most advanced (level C). Each level consists of seven sessions each one of seven weeks. Students meet once a week for two hours. Our group classes can be both online and in-person and they take place in the late afternoon and early evening. Daytime classes can be planned, if requests meet the required number needed for a class. A minimum of 4 students per class is required. Class size is limited to 10 students to ensure each person has the opportunity to interact with the group and the teacher.PRICES
Members of the ICCC get a 10% discount on tuition for group courses only. There is a one-time $25 non-refundable registration fee for first-time students. You can sign up for our classes either on Eventbrite (See below) or by calling the office. Tuition can be paid by cash, debit card, or credit card. Payment in full must be made before the beginning of the class.
Refunds: No refunds after the beginning of group classes. All purchased hours of private and semi-private classes must be used within 6 months of purchase.
Cancellation Policy: For private or semi-private classes a 24-hour minimum notice must be given or class will be forfeited. For regular group classes, due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before the course begins. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. You may cancel by phone at (713)524-4222 ext. 7. If you have to cancel the course, we offer you a credit to your account if you cancel before the 48 hours, but we do not offer refunds. You may use credits towards any future group course. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 48 hours, you will lose the payment for the course. Your tuition will be converted into a donation. If the course is canceled for any reason, including insufficient enrollment, tuition will be refunded in full. After the first day of class, no refunds or credits are allowed for any reason.
