An Exploration of Italian Literature

Join our new cultural enrichment course, an Exploration of Italian Literature. The course will consist of six two-hour classes every Monday from June 11 to July 16, 2018.

Course will be taught in English. Join us to discover how the Italian language came to be and how literature has evolved, from Latin to current Italian. The selected works will be analyzed in both their original Italian and in English translations.

Each class will run from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Registration fee: $160 + $25 for first time students

Monday, June 18, 2018: Dante, Petrarca, and Boccaccio
Monday, June 25, 2018: Secular Humanism
Monday, July 2, 2018: The Renaissance
Monday, July 9, 2018: The Italian Baroque and the Enlightenment
Monday, July 16, 2018: The Romanticism, Risorgimento, and the Veristi

Cancellation Policy: If the course is cancelled for any reason, including insufficient enrollment, tuition will be refunded in full; students will receive a notice by June 7, 2018 confirming their enrollment. Students who decide to drop the class for any other reason and would like to receive a full refund must send a written notification to before June 4, 2018.
