“We had our wedding on April 21 with a reception at the Milford House and it was perfect! Ray was very helpful in answering our questions and the venue was very flexible with our schedule. We were able to set up on Friday and then get back in Saturday morning to receive our flowers and cakes. The venue is gorgeous and has several different rooms which made it easy to stage everything and allowed for guests to break off and talk with each other in different areas. We would highly recommend the Milford House to anyone looking for a mid-sized wedding venue in a gorgeous historical home.”

“Beautiful venue!!!! I had my mom's 60th birthday here and it was perfect! I found it by researching online and once I came to visit, I knew it was the place. The coordinator is great to work with and very accommodating. All of my guests commented on the venue being so wonderful. I highly recommend the Italian Multicultural Center. Thank you so much Ray!”

“You were wonderful to work with when we booked and leading up to the event. We are so glad that we chose The Milford House as our venue. We got a lot of compliments on the venue! The IT was essential to this so we appreciate all the time and effort you and your team put into making sure that worked for us. It made the evening touching and memorable, and was just what we had imagined! We love the Italian Cultural and Community Center.”

“We used this venue for my mom's birthday party in Houston. It is a beautiful venue! It would be perfect for a smaller wedding reception or any event. We had about 80 people which was perfect. You can bring in your own catering and alcohol and the venue is very affordably priced (especially since you get the use of the whole house). It has a great historic feel to it, but has modern amenities. It was a great place!”

“The Milford House is the Italian Cultural Center of Houston. It is a beautiful little house near the medical center. They offer their venue, tables and chairs. It was perfect for our needs. The maximum seating is 120. There is a stage for dancing or additional seating. They also have a kitchen for use. If you have a licensed caterer come in, they can use the kitchen/ovens at no cost. If not, one of their staff members is available for "supervision" of the ovens for your use. Everyone loved the place and we heard so many times, "how did you find this place?!? It's great!" Just a note, on-site parking is limited, but there is ample parking on the street. Also, no candles. You can use sterno for the catering, though.”

I had my wedding reception at the Milford House, and it was a great experience! Ray Miller is fabulous to work with, and was so willing to help my ideas come to fruition. They were willing to let us decorate everywhere downstairs, and even willing to move some of their own furniture if necessary. It's a beautiful house! The venue maxes out at 120, but for a small wedding it's beautiful and very reasonable! Check it out!

“We were looking for a venue that was cozy and comfortable and were able to find this gem. The Milford House was wonderful! It was clean, well organized and prepared for us to come and set-up. It was also offered at a very reasonable price. It accommodates between 80-120 guests which was perfect for what we were looking for.”

The Milford House was the site for our ceremony and reception. We love the flexibility of the home and the ability to hand select our own vendors! Ray, the property manager, was professional, courteous and knowledgable. We also loved the location. Looking back I wish we would have been more on top of the request for maintaining the landscaping. The grass was a little long and some of the tree limbs/hedges needed to be cut back. Definitely not a deal breaker but a tip to pass on to future brides. The value, location and flexibility truly make the Milford House a place I would recommend.

The Milford House in Houston is a hidden jem! We hosted a rehearsal dinner for 40 and then opened it up to a Welcome Party for over 100 people. It was the perfect place to have both and everyone loved it! Ray couldn't have been nicer to work with and the event was a huge success.

“What a beautiful venue. I attended a reception there. Just gorgeous for a group of 120 or less.”
