Club Purpose:
The IIAA is a non-profit organization founded in 1966 with the following aims:
Give Houston-based Italians and Italophiles an opportunity to meet
Explore, express and promote Italian culture and heritage through programs open to public
Promote the Italian language in local high schools, universities and the ICCC
Encourage cultural exchange between the U.S. and Italy
Work with existing public and private organizations in assisting and welcoming visitors from Italy
Typical Activities:
Lectures, Olive Oil Tastings, Movies, Food Events, Wine Events
Membership Requirements:
Family dues – $75.00
Individual – $50.00
Student – $20.00
